Tender are invited for The Department of Health (DOH) in coordination with the Department of Education and Early Development, along with the Alaska Early Childhood Coordination Council (AECCC) has developed the DRAFT Plan - Alaska Early Childhood: A Strategic Direction for 2025-2030. The draft plan outlines a series of goals, objectives, strategies, and activities aimed at benefiting children and families across Alaska by 2030, with a Ten-Year North Star Vision for the state-s early childhood system.Through a comprehensive committee process, the draft plan builds on the updated Needs Assessment of Alaska-s Mixed-Delivery System of Early Childhood Care and Education, which included over 2,000 responses collected from the 2024 Parent and Provider Survey and the 2024 Early Childhood Public Opinion Survey.DOH is seeking public comment on the draft plan. Comment period ends January 17, 2025. To submit comments, please use the feedback form: 2025 -2030 DRAFT FEEDBACK FORM. You may also submit comments via email at info@ddaalaska.com. Comments will be considered during finalization of the plan in spring 2025.
