This is a Sole Source synopsis published for informational purposes only.
The United States Air Force Test Center/Directorate of Contracting (AFTC/PZZG), Edwards AFB, CA intends to issue a sole source contract to Rockwell Collins, Inc DBA Collins Aerospace located at 400 COLLINS RD NE, CEDAR RAPIDS, IA 5249 to provide training services for RT2200A (URG IV) radios. The contract will be executed by means of other than full and open competition, due to Rockwell Collins, Inc DBA Collins Aerospace being the only authorized provider.
In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows:
Mission partner had their security program office recently acquired a set of RT-2200A (URG IV) radios from Rockwell Collins, Inc DBA Collins Aerospace to enhance communication capabilities. To ensure the proper and effective utilization of this specialized equipment, Mission partner is requesting comprehensive training.
