THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is only a sources sought announcement and not an intent to procure. A solicitation is not available at this time and any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Indo-Pacific is conducting market research to identify local sources capable and interested in fulfilling a possible requirement for the procurement and delivery of soft drinks & coffee for Okinawa Japan area bases, items such as listed on Attachment1_Schedule_of_Items. Awardee must be responsible for providing fountain equipment (i.e. Bar Guns, 8-14 button guns, Self Service Ice Dispensing, Electric counter units, ice cooled drop-ins). Also, the awardee must be responsible for providing maintenance and repair of the equipment(s).
The responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions for the next procurement phase. After reviewing the responses submitted regarding this potential acquisition, a solicitation announcement may be published in SAM.gov if and when the Government intends to continue with the procurement.
A wholesale trade or retail trade business concern submitting a quote on a supply acquisition is categorized as a nonmanufacturer and deemed small if it has 500 or fewer employees and meets the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406.
DLA Troop Support Indo-Pacific contemplates a Firm-Fixed Priced, BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) type contract with the right to extend the BPA for up to five (5) years.
