Please note that no verbal information given will be binding upon the State unless such information is issued in writing as an official addendum to this solicitationPursuant to Government Code section 4526, the California State Lands Commission (Commission) announces its intention to hire an electrical engineer consultant Contractor to perform the electrical portion of the Commission Safety and Oil Spill Prevention Audits of offshore oil and gas platforms and facilities. The purpose of this Solicitation is to initiate the process by which the Commission will contract with an Offeror with the appropriate qualifications to perform small (less than $250,000) projects that cannot be performed by Commission staff. These Safety Audits are a comprehensive condition and design assessment that are conducted roughly every five years to help ensure the continued safe operation of these facilities for the State of California and its residents.
