ITEM DESCRIPTION- This requirement was established with a Base Year and two Option Years. This modification will exercise the Year One Option and increase the Job Order ceiling to add Joint Program Office support. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has an established contract for on-site field service representatives (FSRs) and off-site Engineering Support of the AN/ALQ-249 NGJ-MB. These services shall be provided at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, NAS Whidbey Island, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) base in Amberley, Queensland, Australia, on-board United States Navy Aircraft Carriers, as well as at Expeditionary Sites located in any Combatant Command and other areas of responsibility, including Theater of Operations. The Contractor shall provide on-site FSRs with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to support the operation, installation, modification, maintenance, fault location, and maintainer training of the AN/ALQ-249 weapons system and subsystems. The FSR shall serve as an integral part of the Fleet Support Team in-service infrastructure at Government & RAAF sites.
SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT - The proposed contract action is for the services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Raytheon Company, 2000 East El Segundo, CA 90245-3507 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source.
