Sole Source to BIOMERIEUX, INC. for the Extended Warranty on theSpotfire Control Station and Modules.
The Pawnee Indian Health Center intends to award a non-competitive, sole sourcepurchase order to proposed contractor Biomerieux, Inc. authority cited FAR Part5.406(a) - Only one source is capable of providing the equipment at the level or qualityrequired because the equipment is unique or highly specialized.Biomerieux, Inc. is the manufacturer and only source licensed and authorized agency toprovide the required equipment to ensure there is no interruption in services that willnegatively affect direct patient care.
This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitiveproposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response tothis notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would beadvantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government isunder no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or providefeedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement baseupon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement in the future.
