The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Ex Libris Alma for support and service of the digitization of the NSWC PCD technical library. This procurement is sole source for the following reason: Ex Libris Alma is the only Fedramp approved library software system that allows both the cataloging of physical library materials as well as the cataloging and storage of digitized documents. As such, only Ex Libris Alma can meet the Governments requirements. This action will award a firm fixed price contract to Ex Libris Alma for the purchase described in Section 3.
A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency-s needs (including the estimated value).
The vendor shall provide project management, kick-off meeting, training (web-based), on-site functional workshop and Alma certification. The vendor shall perform standard data migration for Alma; configuration of Alma for print and e-resource management across acquisitions, fulfillment, resource management, standard third-party integration, premium authentication and Primo implementation.
