Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the procurement in support of the AN/ALQ-218 Tactical Jamming Receiver System (TJRS), and AN/ALQ-264 Beowulf System, the AN/ALQ-240 Electronic Support Measures (ESM) system the Electronic Attack Unit (EAU), Next Generation (NGEAU) Software. The engineering services requirements line item will include, but not be limited to, providing program management, engineering support, research and development, logistics support, and repair support for Weapons Repairable Assemblies (WRAs) and Shop Repairable Assemblies (SRAs) utilized in these systems. The anticipated potential period of performance includes a one-year base period, and four, one-year option periods.
NSWC, Crane intends to award a Sole Source, Job Order to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) 1508B West Nursery Road MS B585, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090-2202 in support of the EA-18G AEA Suite. This effort will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of sufficient technical data, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source.
