Description
The U.S. Geological Survey ¿ Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Picarro, Inc. located in Santa Clara, California, for G2201-I cavity ring-down spectrometer (CRDS) and accessories. The G2201-I cavity ring-down spectrometer and accessories is used for the analyses of methane and analyses of methane and CO2 concentrations and stable carbon isotope ratios to support projects that characterize natural gas from petroleum systems and living ecosystems. There are no option periods.Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Picarro, Inc. is the only source reasonable available for this requirement because this type of equipment from Picarro, Inc. maintains the proprietary rights and manufacturer of the equipment. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).Responses must be emailed to Dayna Parkin at dparkin@usgs.gov.Closing response date is Thursday April 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM pacific daylight time.The NAICS code is 334516.
