MATHWORKS SOFTWARE PRODUCTSThe Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, FL (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to MathWorks for MatLab software products. This procurement is Sole Source for the following reason: This software is currently in use by project personnel. If another brand software were to be selected, the time and cost to retrain personnel who use this software would result in project delay, additional costs, and introduce unacceptable risk of error in the projects. MathWorks, Inc. is the sole manufacturer, publisher and owner of MathWorks software products and the sole provider for these products in North America.
