Description
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 - Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.
The Library of Congress, Contract and Grants Directorate, awarded a sole-source contract to Studio Joseph at 500 Park Avenue Suite 16E, New York, NY 10022-1606.
This contract is to complete additional work related to the work being completed under Studio Joseph's current contract for design services.
Upon successful completion of this effort, the Library will have professional designs for the VEMP Orientation Gallery. It is anticipated that multiple sources within the commercial marketplace will be able to compete for future requirements related to designs for future Library exhibits.This is not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. Responses to this notice should demonstrate evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission of the Library of Congress. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
