- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at West Point intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to only one responsible source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and 13.501(a)(1)(ii). "Only one responsible source" is based on the company being the sole developer and provider of the product and / or service and is therefore the only source capable of satisfying the Government's requirement. SQBox Solutions owns the trademark on the server that West Point uses for their intranet platform. SQBox Solutions does not allow nor train third-parties to access or service their trademarked equipment. Furthermore, allowing non-authorized third parties to access or service the intranet would void the warranty that covers it and the equipment (server).
