SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT ACTION: The USG intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.
O_HL/PZABA, Hill AFB Utah, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a one-time, sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for T-38 Wingtips for the T-38 Aircraft (NSNs 1560015272195XE and 1560015272194XE) to the OEM/Design Authority and the only qualified manufacturer listed on the Qualified Manufacturer List (QML): Northrup Grumman Corporation Systems Corporation (79U29); Address: 1412 Legend Hills Dr. Ste 210, Clearfield, UT 84015, United States. The USG reserves the right to not make an award at all.
The USG does not own the technical data to these parts. The technical data is owned by Northrup Grumman Corp. All interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. IAW DAFMAN 16-201, there are no restrictions on foreign participation.
