• ** EFFECTIVE MAY 19, 2026: The government has posted Amendment No. 0001 hereunder this Notice (please refer to the Attachments Section). ** ** This Solicitation Notice, relates to Pre-Solicitation W912P626RA009, and is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District for Upper Des Plaines River and Tributaries Phase II - Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration - Pollack Lake and Hastings Creek (Raven Glen), Antioch, Lake County, Illinois. ** PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project involves restoring approximately 429 acres of historically significant natural communities, including wetlands, prairies, savannas, woodlands, and stream habitats. Major actions include remaindering Hastings Creek, eradicating invasive plant species, restoring instream habitat, disabling existing agricultural drain tiles, and establishing native plant communities based on site-specific hydrology and topography. Objectives are to enhance native habitat, biodiversity, and ecological connectivity; improve water quality and flood resilience; and expand recreational opportunities. All work will occur on lands owned by the Lake County Forest Preserve District. ** ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is FULL AND OPEN, UNRESTRICTED TOBUSINESS SIZE.
