Description
The National Park Service (NPS) has released on January 21, 2025, a business opportunity soliciting proposals to award a new ten (10) year concession contract to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail, campground, fuel, and other related services at Stehekin within Lake Chelan National Recreation Area.
The NPS hosted a site visit for organizations interested in bidding on this opportunity on September 27, 2024. The pre-release site visit provided interested organizations an overview of the concession operation along with a tour of some of the Concession Facilities assigned under the Draft Contract. A copy of the information document provided at the site visit is available as Appendix 1 to this prospectus.
Questions regarding the prospectus must be received, in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on February 12, 2025. Email your questions to Mark Juretschke, Financial Analyst, at mark_juretschke@nps.gov.
Any interested party intending to submit a proposal must submit a "Notice of Intent to Propose" as described in the Business Opportunity and Proposal Instructions, no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on March 21, 2025.
The NPS is ONLY accepting electronic proposals in response to this prospectus. Any proposal must be received electronically, no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on April 18, 2025, in the format outlined in the Proposal Instructions, to be evaluated for award of the new concession contract.
