The City Of Cochran Is Soliciting Comprehensive Residential And Commercial Garbage Pick-up And Limb Pick-up Services In The City Of Cochran And A Small Portion Of The Unincorporated Area Of Bleckley County, Georgia. Residential Curb-side Pick-up Services Are Also Being Bid As An Alternate. The City Of Cochran Has Attached The "request For Proposals" That We Hope Professional Solid Waste Firms Will Complete And Submit. Residential Pick-up Involved Servicing Residential Carts Throughout Town, And Commercial Garbage Pick-up Involves Dumpster Pick-up. Curb-side Limb Pick-up Is Also An Essential Element Of The City's Sold Waste Service Profile. The Vendor Will Also Be Expected To Pick-up Household Bulk Waste On The Second Saturday Of Every Month. This Involves The Pick-up Of Discarded Household Items That Are Placed In Front Of Residences By Cochran Residents. The Initial Term Of The Contract Is Expected To Be For Three Years. The City Seeks A Professional Vendor That Efficiently And Effectively Picks Up Garbage And Debris, And That Communicates Well And Often With City Staff.
