NOTICE OF INTENT to AWARD SOLE SOURCE to Navajo Sanitation, Inc. for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services for Crownpoint Healthcare Facility for the Facility Management and Quarters Department.
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes. Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Service Unit, Facility Management and Quarters Department; intends to award a fixed price sole source contract IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services that limit the availability to a sole source. Navajo Sanitation is the sole vendor for the requirement to conduct daily business and in support for patient care and health care support for our remote location.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562111 - Solid Waste Collection. The objective of this sole source award to Navajo Sanitation is for the Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services for Crownpoint Healthcare Facility for the Facility Management and Quarters Department.
This notice of intent does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
