This is a Source Sought / Request for Information (RFI) issued by 409th CSB - RCO Balkans Kosovo to gather information from industry regarding commercially available portable radio systems that are functionally similar or equivalent to the Motorola APX 6000 Model 2.5. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quote (RFQ) or any other solicitation. 409th CSB - RCO Balkans Kosovo is not accepting proposals at this time and will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI. Any future solicitation will be announced separately.
The purpose of this RFI is to identify potential sources, assess market capabilities, and gather technical information to inform future acquisition strategies for portable radios. We are interested in understanding the current state of the market, available technologies, pricing structures, and implementation considerations for rugged, reliable, and secure portable radio solutions
