Mechanical Assist Shelving Units - 140th Mission Support Group, Buckley Space Force Base, CO
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice issued by the 140th Mission Support Group, Force Support Squadron at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. This is for market research and planning purposes ONLY and does NOT constitute a solicitation or a request for quotes, proposals, or bids.
Requirement Description:
The 140th Mission Support Group is seeking information on potential sources capable of providing mechanical assist shelving units. Currently, the customer utilizes electronic moving shelves but desires to transition to a mechanical system due to safety concerns. Vendor input is crucial in determining the optimal path forward. We are evaluating two primary options:
Complete Replacement: Removal and replacement of the existing electronic shelving units with new mechanical units. Modification: Conversion of the existing electronic shelves to a mechanical operating system.Photographs of the current space and shelving units are attached. We strongly encourage vendors to provide feedback on the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of both options, as well as any alternative solutions. This information will inform our acquisition strategy and ensure we meet the customer's needs.
