SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete under NAICS Code: 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard 1,000 employees for an upcoming requirement to provide Brand Name Waters Gas chromatogram with an atmospheric pressure ionization source that is compatible with the Waters Xevo TQ Absolute. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Submission is voluntary. Requirements include but not limited to:1. The atmospheric pressure ionization source must be made to fit onto the Waters TQ Absolute that is already in possession of AET. 2. The gas chromatogram must be thermostable from ambient to 450°C. 3. Temperature controlled autosampler with a programable temperature range up to 150°C. The injection linearity should be 0.999. 4. The autosampler must have the ability to intake samples from liquids, headspace, or using SPME.5. The precision of the injector must be 6. The autoinjector should come with three trays for liquid samples and one tray for headspace samples. 7. On-site three-day training for instrument and software use included. Additional online follow up training also included. 8. The GC column compartment must be able to maintain the column at temperatures between ambient - 450°C. 9.
