This is a Sources Sought announcement and is for information/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any information requests. Project Information:
The USDA, USFS, Southern Region, Region 8 intends to solicit a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity multiple award task order contract for fence construction, fence maintenance, and fence repair services located at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina, which includes but is not limited to:
FENCE LINE CLEARING & MAINTENANCE CONSTRUCTION & REPAIR SERVICE REPAIR SERVICE CALLS EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HOG BARRIER FENCES COST ESTIMATING FOR REPAIRS OR NEW CONSTUCTION METHOLOGYDescription of required services:
The contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to inspect, maintain, perform preventive maintenance, repair, and perform emergency repair for the boundary fence and hog barrier fences on the Savannah River Site (SRS) in South Carolina. The intent of this contract is to perform an initial clearing and repair of the boundary fence and to then mitigate the need for major repairs through preventive maintenance and repairs. The contractor must successfully integrate and coordinate all activity needed to execute the requirement(s). The contractor must manage the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification. The contractor must provide corrective action plans, proposal submittals, timely identification of issues, and effective management of any or all subcontractors.
