The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources of commercial products/services that satisfy the Government-s anticipated needs.
BACKGROUND
NIST requires one (1) sealed holes imperial table, one (1) table frame, two (2) water cooled breadboard, one (1) thermoelectric cooler, and one (1) laminar flow enclosure. The enclosure must include a 1-year extender warranty with maintenance. The enclosure will be used for the automation of a traceable permittivity standard. The objective of the requirement is to enable traceable measurements of complex permittivity. This requirement supports the NIST CHIPS program to develop and disseminate NIST best practices and algorithms for permittivity measurements.
The goal of this requirement is to enable production level measurements of new permittivity standards for the microwave materials lab. The contractor shall deliver one (1) sealed holes imperial table, one (1) table frame, two (2) water cooled breadboard, one (1) thermoelectric cooler, and one (1) laminar flow enclosure. Delivery will be to NIST Boulder. Installation and training required. The enclosure unit and gripper items must include a 1-year extender warranty with maintenance.
