This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. This is not asolicitation for proposals. No contract shall be awarded, nor will reimbursement bemade for any costs associated with providing information in response to thisannouncement.
The U.S. Army Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space and Product Manager,Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS), has a requirement to provide SaabGiraffe1X (G1X) radars in support of foreign partners. The purpose of thisannouncement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications ofbusinesses to provide the G1X radars with fixed price requirements. Thisannouncement supports the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10 Market Researchrequirement.
1. PROGRAM BACKGROUNDPdM C-UAS International Programs plans, coordinates and synchronizes programmatic,logistics, training, and technical management of international systems of systems, deliveringemerging and rapid development Short Range Air Defense and Counter Unmanned AircraftSystems capabilities to foreign partners.
2. REQUIRED CAPABILITIESThe contractor shall be capable of delivering up to 36 Saab G1X short to medium rangeradars designed for integration in small, mobile platforms. Total quantities may includerequirements for the Compact Radar Module (CRM).Radar requirements include 360° air surveillance, Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems(CUAS) and Surface (over water) capability out to 75 km instrumented range, 60 rpmrotation for short response time, and automatic track initiation of more than 600 targets.Extended warranty will be required.
3. ELIGIBILITYThe Product Service Code is 5840, and the NAICS Code is 334511.
