Title: Sources Sought Notice (SSN)/Request for Information (RFI) to procure, assemble, integrate, checkout, and deploy the Reconfigurable Tactical Command Systems (R-TCS) (Part Number 13741319-1) to support the U.S. Army-s PATRIOT Battalions.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
This SSN/RFI is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Defense Logistics Agency to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources, and if future efforts can be competitive or Set Aside for Small Business. This SSN/RFI is to notify companies that the Defense Logistics Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is seeking qualified sources to produce and deliver the R-TCS to support the Patriot Missile System. The Defense Logistics Agency will issue any future solicitations from this requirement against the existing contract,SPRBL1-15-D-0017. The R-TCS referenced above will be placed on the existing indefinite delivery requirements type contract to support the PATRIOT Radar and addresses obsolescence related to the M934 Prime Mover in support of Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC).
It is contemplated that this award will be made to Raytheon, CAGE Code: 05716, utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(1), having only one responsible source.
As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(1) having only a limited number of responsible sources. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns.
