Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide radio fire alarm transmitters and antennas. The products must have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the Monaco Radio Fire Alarm Transmitter and Antennas.
FY26 MCA Project P-219/104219 PDI: Guam Defense System, EIAMD, Ph2, JR Marianas, Guam and FY27 MCA Project P-935/107935 PDI: Forward Operating Sites, JR Marianas, Guam, Guam each requires eight (8) radio fire alarm transmitter and antenna with the following characteristics:
Equipment shall be tested and listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). Equipment shall be compatible and NRTL listed or approved to be used with the Base existing radio fire alarm equipment. Existing equipment on Base is Monaco D-21 radio fire alarm system comprised of one Monaco radio fire alarm receiver. A Monaco D-500 radio fire alarm system serves as a back up to the Monaco D-21 radio fire alarm system. Equipment shall utilize narrowband radio communication meeting the requirements of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Frequency Management. This notification is for market research purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation, request for proposals, quotes, or invitation of bids or award a contract.
