Tender are invited for PUBLIC NOTICEDEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIESSOUTHCOAST REGIONSEASONAL WEIGHT RESTRICTIONSIssue Date: March 17, 2025 Weight restrictions are stated as a percentage of legal allowable weight and shall be applied to the maximum axle loading of 17 AAC 25.013(e). The following road systems are included within the Southcoast Region: Angoon, Gustavus, Haines, Hoonah, Iliamna, Juneau, Kake, Ketchikan, King Salmon, Klawock, Kodiak, Petersburg, Sitka, Skagway, Wrangell, and Yakutat areas. Location: Kodiak Effective Wednesday March 19, 2025, at 8:00 A.M. All state-maintained roads in the Kodiak area are returned to summertime permitting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Additional restrictions and modifications will be imposed as necessary.
