Project Purpose: The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a maximum of five contractors under a Regional Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (IDIQ MATOC) with a total shared capacity not to exceed (NTE) $793 million to meet the construction requirements of designing plans for and constructing floodproofing on up to 3,961 individual properties in the Southwest Coastal Louisiana Nonstructural Storm Risk Management Project (Project).

Description: The Project aims to provide hurricane and storm damage risk management in the southwest portion of the state. Given the area-s low elevation, flat terrain, and proximity to the Gulf of Mexico, Southwest Louisiana is at high risk of flooding from tidal surge and waves from hurricanes.
