The California Department of Public Health (herein referred to as CDPH or the State), Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Division is soliciting Bids from Manufacturers for the purposes of providing soy-based Iron-Fortified Infant Formula for the WIC Program in three (3) Forms: liquid concentrate, powder, and ready-to-feed.The selected Bidder will be required to supply contracted non-exempt, soy-based Iron-Fortified Infant Formula to WIC Authorized Vendors and provide a Rebate to the State for each Container of Contract Brand Infant Formula purchased by WIC Participants from WIC Authorized Vendors using the EBT Card and for Containers of Contract Brand Infant Formula purchased directly by the State, e.g., ready-to-feed. The State will reimburse the WIC Authorized Vendors for each Container of Contract Brand Infant Formula purchased by WIC Participants.
