This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source **EMERGENCY**contract and is not a request for quotes.The Department of Veterans Affairs East Orange VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), brand name only, sole source action.Name of Contractor:GM Office Interiors, LTDStreet Address:567 Commerce StCity, State, Zip:Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417The East Orange VAMC Mental Health Department requires a brand name procurement of Kwik-Wall Model 2020 STC50A movable panel partitions. The system will need to include retractable horizontal bottom seals & two (2) set of pocket door panels. The Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including removal and disposal of old movable partition panels and furnish labor and materials to perform work for this VA Project. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.List of Products:The two movable partitions shall be replaced in kind, so that the existing ceiling track system is not being modified, and to avoid unnecessary construction work/ re-work.The existing system is a Kwik-Wall Model 2020 STC50A. System to include retractable horizontal bottom seals & two (2) set of pocket door panels.Furnish pocket door panels with Ligature Resistant Pulls.Panels to be fabric, not laminate. There are approximately 6 panels for each movable wall.
