This is a notification of an intent to award a sole source contract to Sysmex America Inc under NAICS code 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing by Indian Health Services (IHS), Phoenix Area Office (PAO), Division of Acquisition Management (DAM) for a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) against VA Contract Number V797D10234 under the authority of FAR 8.405-6, Only One Source. The PAO, DAM will award an Area Wide Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Sysmex NX-450 Hematology, Cost-Per-Test Supplies, and Service Agreement for One Base Year and Four Option Years. The automated clinical hematology analyzer is used to perform the automated Complete Blood Count with automated white blood cell differentials and assessment of red blood cell, platelet morphology, and reticulocyte analysis required to maintain health and treatment of patients being served.
If you can provide the supplies requested, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Agency and may be e-mailed to donovan.conley@ihs.gov referencing notice number IHS1516801-UNO by 4:00 PM (MST) August 22, 2025. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
