NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250 for the Miami VAMC, 1201 NW 16th St. Miami, FL 33125 to provide reagents and supplies compatible with the existing Benchmark Special Stains system. Contract is for a base plus four (4) option years from October 1, 2025 September 30, 2030, total estimated Contract amount (5 years) is $134,000.00. This contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 325413 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability in meeting this requirement by submitting such information by September 29, 2025, at 5:00pm (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon the responses received from this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
