Description
Statement of Requirements:The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), St. Louis VAMC(VASTLHCS), has a requirement for the rental of inpatient beds, mattress, and accessories that will require the contractor to supply rental items to include all inpatient requirements of the facility, the Spinal Cord Injury Units, and Community Living Centers located at the facilities. The contractor shall provide delivery, set-up, maintenance /service/repair, and pick-up of all items as described in the “Description of Need” below. The contractor may elect to submit a quote for additional rental equipment, although these items are not mandatory for award. Key Operator Training shall be provided for all rental items.

SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide bed rental equipment to the VA St. Louis Healthcare System (STLVAHCS), 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, Missouri, 63125 and 915 North Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri, 63106, for the Sole purpose of patient care for our residents and re within defined time frames for services.
PERFORMANCE PERIOD: This is a firm-fixed contract. This contract will be for one base year plus a four (4) year option.
RENTAL EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS: The following items will be delivered as needed:Standard Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation Therapy Mattress (100% overlay) for the SICU/Spinal Cord Injury/Amputation, Stroke Patients:

Fluid Immersion Simulation Technology On board 12-hour battery back up Support all patients with advance stage wounds, multiple pressure ulcers, flaps, skin grafts, and burns.
