- As part of the City of Pasadena-s Public Park Wi-Fi Project, the City seeks a qualified contractor to perform fiber optic splicing, testing, and certification to support new and existing connections. Work will include both underground and overhead infrastructure, with most splices occurring in vaults within the City-s power conduit system. Fiber types may include single mode microcable, ADSS, loose tube, and legacy multi-mode, ranging from 6 to 288 strands.City crews or separate vendors will typically place the fiber runs; the selected contractor will complete splicing and testing. The City also requires on-call troubleshooting and emergency repair services. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed.
