Description:
The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking Proposals for Project Title. Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lvmwd, no later than Response Submission Time on Response Submission Date.The scope of work includes maintenance of the entire farm property and operation, including fields and hillsides, fences and roads, ditches and drainages, catch and debris basins, irrigation equipment and systems, farming equipment and machinery, application of irrigation water, management of vegetative growth, maintenance of walking trails, etc. Assistance with similar work may occasionally be required at other sites.The objective of the work is the maintenance of a well-managed farm and farming operation with fields of irrigated pasture grasses optimized for the rapid disposal of surplus recycled water in cases of operational emergency, without incidence of runoff from the property, and crop mowing and green chopping.
