Special NoticeSpecial NoticePage 3 of 3Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source                            The Department of Veterans Affairs, Castle Point Campus VAMC, NY, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to CENSIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)- Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for the Castle Point Campus VAMC, for a follow-on requirement to purchase replacement Censitrac Scanners that are compatible with the existing system that the SPS service currently owns and uses as a direct plug-and-play to ensure compatibility and instant access to avoid unnecessary interruptions to the patient. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334118 Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing. The notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it s proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.Due to the urgency of need, this requirement will be sole sourced.  Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for the future requirements. No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquires will be honored.
