Sealed Bids For The Construction Of The Sr 11; Highland Ave. & Lumpkin St Lci Project Will Be Received By The City Of Monroe, At City Hall, Located At 215 N. Broad Street, Monroe, Ga 30655 Until 2:00 Pm Local Time On At April 10, 2025 At Which Time The Bids Received Will Be Publicly Opened And Read. The Project Includes The Construction Of New Or Expanded Sidewalks With New Bicycle Facilities Along Both Sides Of The North Broad Street (sr 11) From Marable Street To Highland Avenue, Highland Ave From N. Broad Street To N. Lumpkin Street & N. Lumpkin Street From Highland Avenue To E. Spring Street. Pavement Will Be Re-striped To Allow For Shared Bicycle Lane Markings And Wider Sidewalks. Also, These Improvements Include Installed Raised Curbs, Defined Pedestrian Crossing At Intersections, A Mid-block Pedestrian Crossing, Shared Bicycle Lane Markings, Street Trees With Landscaping, Pedestrian Scale Lighting And Other Street Furnishings, Ada-accessible Curb Ramps And Storm Sewer Upgrades.
