1. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
Portland District is seeking a Contractor to fabricate and deliver of a stainless-steel Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) detection Ice and Trash Sluiceway (ITS) shield at Bonneville Dam in accordance with provided plans and specifications. Contract will be awarded through standalone firm fixed price supply contract.
2. Project Background
The ITS serves as a surface flow route at Powerhouse 1. It provides a safe route of passage formigrating salmonids by reducing turbine passage. This effort will fabricate the metal housing for the PIT detection antenna to be installed by the Government once delivered.
The shield will be installed by the Government atop an existing gate in Spillway 1B of the Bonneville Ice and Trash Sluiceway and serve both as a protective housing for PIT antennas and as a stru... - Documents:
