THIS NOTICE DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for the information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
  The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Boulder Campus, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305, is conducting market research to identify qualified and certified 8(a) SMALL BUSINESS construction firms capable of performing a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) construction project for Steam Tunnel Ventilation System Replacement. The purpose of this synopsis is to identify organizations with the requisite qualifications to provide the services stated herein. Eligible and certified 8(a) small businesses are encouraged to respond to this notice.
  The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract to one contractor.
  The NAICS Code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
  General Requirements
  See the attached draft statement of work entitled “DRAFT SOW - Steam Tunnel Ventilation” and associated attachments for work requirements.
  All work will be performed at the NIST Boulder Campus, Boulder, CO 80305. The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days from notice to proceed.
