SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
The Department of Defense, United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), is currently conducting market research seeking capabilities statement from all potential sources, including small businesses (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWOSB), Woman-Owned (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) small businesses that can provide Operating Room Surgical lights.
1. Services must ONLY be performed by trained technicians who have experience servicing Steris HarmonyAIR A-Series surgical lights. Trained Technicians who have evidence of current factory training on the specific lights being serviced ( Steris HarmonyAIR A-Series surgical lights). The Steris HarmonyAIR A-Series surgical lights are specified as the name brand or equal due to the following essential characteristics and unique features necessary to meet clinical requirements (See Attachment 1-Surgical Lights Requirements List and Attachment 2- Surgical Lights Salient Characteristics)
2. Must provide evidence of equipment standards and traceability and final device performance testing that follows and complies with all manufacturers procedural requirements.
3. Must guarantee that safety inspections performed will comply with all applicable federal, state and regulatory requirements, manufacturer standards, and meet FDA alerts and recall requirements.
4. Each technician must be Licensed to service the applicable Steris surgical equipment prior to performing any service and/or maintenance on the surgical suites at Eglin Hospital. (See line number six on Requirements List document).
