CONTRACTING ACTIVITY: 18th Contracting Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.
CONTRACT INFORMATION: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 -- Presolicitation notices. The acquisition is for a stand-alone contract to provide a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the installation of fences in Stillwell housing, located on Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors.
A solicitation will be available on this site and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation about July 2025.
The Government intends to award one (1) firm-fixed-price contract.
The estimated magnitude of this contract will be between $300,000 - $600,000.
The performance period is approximately 163 calendar days.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project is for the replacement of approximately 2,675 Linear feet (LF) of fences at Stilwell, Military Family Housing (MFH), Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. This project shall consist of but not be limited to providing plan, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and performing all work necessary to provide new fences. includes site preparation, removal, excavation, backfill, compaction, grounds restoration, removal, discarding, installation of fences and safety rails, concrete foundation, hot dip galvanized chain link fencing, steel or concrete posts, and hydroseeding or sod.
NOTE: This requirement will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful Offeror must be licensed and registered to perform work in the country of Japan.
