Description : A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on March 18, 2025, at 11:00 am at Straughn Auditorium Parking Lot, Mansfield, PA 16933.This is to notify you that the PA State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) is transitioning its construction bidding from Ariba Discovery to the PennBid website for its bidding platform for Construction projects effective immediately. We believe that PennBid will provide a more suitable bidding platform for public construction bidding. If you were registered with PennBid prior to its upgrade to Bonfire you will need to set up a new registration.PennBid does not charge a fee to register, however it does charge a modest capped fee of 1/3% for fixed contracts or 1/6% of contract value (+ tax) for term contracts if you are awarded a contract through this platform.
