DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) SOURCES SOUGHT FOR EXISTING LEASE LOCATION Notice: This advertisement is a notice of a potential opportunity. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to lease approximately 6,815 RSF of existing medical space in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous, otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. The space needs to be contiguous. Operations will be for outpatient clinic care and staff. The property shall include 50 on-site parking spaces. The Government will pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value for space. Lease Term: 20 years; 15 years firm, 5-year soft term as a full-service lease. Delineated Area: To receive consideration, submitted properties must be located within the area described below, which is bound by the following roads or must front on any of the following boundary lines: Bounded on the North: I10 Westbound from I49/Hwy 90 to Hwy 167 (Ambassador Caffery). Bounded on the East: Hwy 90 Northbound from Johnston St. to I10. Bounded on the South: Johnston St. Eastbound from Ambassador Caffery to Hwy 90.
