- PURPOSE. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit for additional Contractors to add to the already established State of Minnesota enterprise Contract F-556(5) for Fire Protection Services. This RFP is divided into two categories: • Category “B”: Fire Suppression Services. Responders to Category B must be certified to test, inspect, and conduct repairs, extensions of new systems, or new installations of Fike Corporation brand fire suppression systems. • Category “D”: Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Flushing Services Responses to Category D are desired and will evaluate responses and consider submitted proposals to Category D. Responders can provide a response to one or both categories. Category B will be evaluated separately from Category D. If responding to more than one Category, Responders must submit the associated Exhibit D Price Schedule and Capability Requirements or Work Plan for each Category they are responding to. The Contract(s) awarded through this solicitation will be available to all State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Ventures (CPV) members, on an as needed basis, for their individual projects. All existing Contracts will remain in place and will maintain their current scope of work and county coverage. Contractors already on contract F-556(5) are not required to respond to this solicitation to remain on contract or to revise their contract terms, conditions, and pricing. QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS. Any questions and/or clarifications in regard to the solicitation response shall be made in writing to Craig Fernholz, Buyer, via email at craig.fernholz@state.mn.us by December 20, 2024, no later than 2:00 PM CT. If a Responder discovers any significant ambiguity, error, conflict, discrepancy, omission, or other deficiency in the RFP, they must immediately notify the Buyer in writing of such error and request modification or clarification of the document. Responders are not to contact anyone within any other State Agency regarding this solicitation. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the questions/clarifications due date and time.
