Tender are invited for BRIEF DESCRIPTIONThis is a SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE to the notice published on September 1, 2024 about the Parole Boards proposal to change regulations. The purpose of this notice is to extend the comment period for persons requiring accommodations to comment. The Alaska Board of Parole proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 22 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with parole eligibility and victim participation in parole hearings, including the following: 22 AAC 20.005 - 22 AAC 20.090 are proposed for adoption, amendment, and repeal as follows: consolidate parole eligibility groups and update to include three eligibility groups created by statute since 2005; add regulation providing geriatric parole eligibility, update definitions, and change wording to make presumptive sentence eligibility clearer. 22 AAC 20.105 is a proposed change to more clearly reflect that a victim of a crime may participate in all hearings conducted by the parole board regarding the perpetrator of that crime, not just discretionary release hearings.You may comment on the proposed regulation ch...
