The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network ContractingOffice 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to award a new sole source contract to Alcon Vision LLC for the high-quality, customizable eye surgical packs necessary for performing various ophthalmic procedures. The kits must include Sterile drapes, Gauze pads, Surgical sponges, Sterile surgical gloves (various sizes), Eye speculum, Micro-scissors, Forceps, Scalpel, Sutures, Syringes and needles, Irrigation solutions, Antibiotic ointment and Operating room towels. This is not a request for competitive offers, and no solicitation is available. Market research hasdetermined that these items are specialized and are only available from a single source withoutan unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of items will satisfy the agencyrequirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an estimated effective date ofDecember 13, 2025, to Alcon Vision, LLC located at 6201 South Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76134. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does notconstitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If an agency believes it is capableof meeting the Government's requirements, it may identify its interest and capability to thecontract specialist by contacting Patsy Simpson via e-mail at Patsy.Simpson@va.gov.
