Description:
The intent of the City is to procure the services of one (1) qualified Contractor related to construction services for SW Kestor Drive Sidewalk Construction Project. This work will be consistent with the adopted goals, objectives, and programs of the City of Port St. Lucie City Council. All work shall be in accordance with the project plans prepared by Culpepper & Terpening, Inc. Construction Plans - Culpepper & Terpening, Inc., pages 1 - 57The contract period is estimated at one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days with no option to renew.The project is to construct approximately 1.38 miles of 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk on the north and east side of SW Kestor Drive from SW Darwin Boulevard to SW Becker Road. The project includes, but not limited to, concrete sidewalk, earthwork, clearing and grubbing, drainage modifications, swale relocation, utility relocations, record drawings, and all work and materials to provide a complete project as shown and described in the contract documents, bid specifications and project plan sets. The Contractor is to provide all materials, supplies, labor, and equipment necessary for a complete project based on all specifications and any contract amendments that may be deemed necessary. The Contractor must have all the required licenses and certifications necessary to perform this work. The approved license for this project is a State of Florida General Contractor license. It is the Contractor-s responsibility to verify with the City-s Building Department that they possess the proper licenses and certifications to perform the work prior to submitting a bid.The project is partially funded through the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP) and will require various reporting throughout the project. This includes weekly certified payroll following the Davis Bacon Wage Decision FL20250272.
