Description:
The Swimming Pool Resurfacing Project involves the complete renovation of the City-s main pool and wading pool, aiming to restore safe, durable, and visually appealing swimming facilities that comply with all applicable ADA, State, County, and City regulations. The scope of work consists of draining both pools, removing all existing plaster, tiles, and depth markers, repairing surface defects, and applying a new Bond Kote base followed by an exposed quartz plaster finish in Krystal Blue or a similar color. Work also includes the installation of new waterline and step tiles, replacement of LED light fixtures in the main pool, installation of new VGBA-compliant main drain grates, and the addition of updated depth and “No Diving” markers. The contractor will be responsible for all surface preparation, material application, water refilling, debris removal, and site cleanup. All work must be completed within the established project timeline, which is approximately four to five weeks, under the supervision of the City Project Manager. Progress photos and inspections are required at each phase.The budget for this project is $100,000.
