Description : INVITATION TO BID Slippery Rock University - Slippery Rock, PAUP-2024-013Swope Air Handling Unit ReplacementSlippery Rock University, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the Mechanical Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 01 31 00, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents.Work included under this Project consists of the replacement of two (2) air-handling units, AHU-B, located in the 1st floor fan room, and AHU-D (PRE-PURCHASED BY THE UNIVERSITY), located in the 2nd floor fan room, along with their associated return fans, RF-B and RF-D, replacement of the existing chilled water circulation pump, CWP-1 (located in the ground floor mechanical room),and installation of a second chilled water circulation pump in the ground floor mechanical room and all associated electrical and piping scope and control upgrades required to support the Work.
