This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207.
The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Requirements type contract (FAR Subpart 16.503) for the acquisition of asphalt services supporting Sustainment, Restoration, and Maintenance (SRM) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Typical work includes, but not limited to:
The work to be done consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials as well as performing all work in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications for Flexible Pavement Requirements and Miscellaneous Construction and Repairs at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. All work performed by the Contractor shall result in a complete and functional system.

A traffic control plan must be submitted to DPW for review and approval. One lane traffic in each direction is always to remain open during construction. The small business size standard is $45.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This requirement will be procured utilizing Sealed Bidding Procedures specified in FAR Part 14.
