Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst announces its intention to procure, on a sole source basis from Qualisys North America, Inc., Buffalo Grove, IL, an estimated maximum quantity of two (2) Mocap Camera - Miqus M3, Standard (61°), item number 400300; maximum quantity of two (2) Camera Cable - Miqus/Arqus, 10m, item number 410820; maximum quantity of 14 Mounting Device - Super Clamp w Tap 1/4", Manfrotto [035+037], item number 200073; maximum quantity of 14 Mounting Device - Miqus Tripod Ball Head, Manfrotto [MH494-BH], item 200091; and one (1) year Qualisys System Support - Professional level, item number 150506.
This is a one-time purchase for a brand name Qualisys mocap system, to integrate with the Qualisys mocap system currently in place in the RISE lab. Sole source authority is provided under 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Qualisys North America Inc. is considered the only responsible source capable of providing the required equipment because they own all the proprietary data and drawings. Therefore, Qualisys North America is the only vendor capable of producing the equipment to meet the Government requirement.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
